well, this is why there are so many choices for a given task in Linux -- because 25% of them are going to be poor fits, 50% won't work right, and the remaining 25% can be tweaked to fit :-) I can't help but note that KDE is the common thread. The backdrop thing could be X, but X would behave oddly in other WM's too, I'd think. > > > > > 2.
