    I wasn't aware of the /etc/pam/su file, but I was going to suggest making /bin/su chmod 2750 with a group of wheel.

Post an OT message, find the answer -- it's that simple. On RH you can
modify /etc/pam/su. ON Solaris the recommendation seems to be to change
group ownership of /bin/su and chmod 750.
