I have heard a few people complain about upgrades when they have a
software raid setup. My suggestion is to do it manually.
1) Use urpmi.addmedia to add all of the sources from the 9.0 disks.
2) Use urpmi to upgrade new programs.

Step #2 is long, probably 99% of the process. It can also be tricky
because it will want to upgrade a LOT of stuff due to dependency
checking. And you probably will have conflicts from the previous
install. It's hard to tell exactly what you will be faced with. It's
not going to be a 30 minute ordeal. More than likely all afternoon or
all day or all weekend (if this stuff is new to you).

I do not know if there are any errata posted concerning software raid
and upgrades.
