Although you're point has merits still the comparison is RH 8.0 vs MDK
8.2 and as far as the apps list on the box goes 8.2 loses.  Urpmi and
Mandrake Update can handle the upgrades.  IF MDK really wants the cash.
Getting boxes into users hands ASAP is the key.
