Thanks again to all whho offered information regarding my problem with
unmounting /var so that I could resize it using diskdrake. I've got a new
question now, that hopefully someone will know the answer to.
When I run diskdrake in the GUI to examing things, it shows the partition as
properly now being 21G, instead of 19G as it was before. However, when I do
a "df -k" to show partitions from a shell window, I get:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use%
Mounted on
/dev/hda9 19638824 173440 19465384 1%
/var
Looks suspiciously like it still thinks it's a 19G partition to me.... Is
there something that I need to do to get the numbers here to jive with the
actual size of the partition, or is this just some kind of limitation on the
part of df?
