in /etc/group there is a group name for this id. This is what I fail to understand... the files that should be there are there. It just doesn't seem to be talking to them. *sigh* any other ideas?

Take a look into /etc/groups to see if a group with id 100 does exist.

      Hey guys,

My install of 9.0 was running fine and then all of a sudden whenever I
connect it tells me it can't find the name of the group I'm in. i.e. id:
cannot find name for group ID 100 This is making me crazy - any help at all
will be gratefully appreciated.
