Hi David, if you want 56k dialin connection to your server, your server will require a digital modem and link to the exchange. If you have a 56k modem hooked to a anologue (pots) line on you server you cannot get any higher speed than 33.6k. Read up on digital to anologue and analogue to digital conversions to find out why.
