I have been trying to add a remote cups printer to my laptop (the above printer) but my laptop (mandrake 8.2) refuses to see the desktop cups server.
Cups IS running and the printer is printing OK from the desktop. I have been going over the likely config files and tools and see nothing to explain the inability of my laptop to see the desktop cups server.
