Instead of supermount I use autofs. It works great. Except for urpmi and rpmdrake.

Here's my attempt to install sendmail:

#urpmi sendmail
To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed (2 MB):
cyrus-sasl-1.5.27-5mdk.i586
sendmail-8.12.6-3.1mdk.i586
Is this OK? (Y/n)
eject: unable to find or open device for: `automount(pid1474)'
Please insert the medium named "Installation CD 1 (x86) (cdrom1)" on device [automount(pid1474)]
Press Enter when ready...

rpmdrake fails with similar error message about "device automount(pid1474)". Obviously, pid1474 is the PID of automount process.

Here's my urpmi.cfg:

Installation\ CD\ 1\ (x86)\ (cdrom1) removable://mnt/vypal/Mandrake/RPMS {
hdlist: hdlist.Installation CD 1 (x86) (cdrom1).cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist1.cz
list: list.Installation CD 1 (x86) (cdrom1)
removable: /dev/scd0
}

Installation\ CD\ 2\ (x86)\ (cdrom2) removable://mnt/vypal/Mandrake/RPMS2 {
hdlist: hdlist.Installation CD 2 (x86) (cdrom2).cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist2.cz
list: list.Installation CD 2 (x86) (cdrom2)
removable: /dev/scd0
}

International\ CD\ (x86)\ (cdrom3) removable://mnt/vypal/Mandrake/RPMS3 {
hdlist: hdlist.International CD (x86) (cdrom3).cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist3.cz
list: list.International CD (x86) (cdrom3)
removable: /dev/scd0
}

update_source {
hdlist: hdlist.update_source.cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist.cz
list: list.update_source
update
}

Autofs works fine for all other programs. /dev/scd0 is automounted on /mnt/vypal.

Is there a way to make urpmi work with autofs?
