Yas, I have a master and a slave device in each IDE
channel. Primary master a 20Gb (win) and slave a 40Gb
(MDK), I can't remember, but I'd swear both of them
are Seagate.

On the secondary there's a master Sony CD-burner (12x)
and as a slave I got a LG DVD-Reader.

Thanks.
