It's not too bad, I run Keramik on 9.0 (KDE 3.0.3) as I like the layout,
I use custom backgrounds, so the delivered one has a very short life
span on my system.

The fonts look quite clear to me, I found the fonts in Mozilla 1.3a
under 9.1 (both betas) to look horrible, but since Konqueror has tabbed
browsing, I just switched to that.

Evolution 1.2.1 was on beta 1 but NOT on beta 2... WTF?  I installed the
1.2.1 release from the Ximian archives and it ran.

Without the "eye candy" many Windows users (mainstream users who know
how to turn a computer on and click/double-click on the screen) will
never give Linux a second look, and IMHO, companies looking a deploying
Win2k or WinXP Pro should give it a look.

Those in the know, can always turn the eye candy off ;)
