Thanks.  Ugh.  How does one fix this affront?  I don't want to have to 
manually edit my /var/spool/mail/etc/resolv.conf file any time I alter my 
connection.  Kppp handles this for me in /etc/resolv.conf...would deleting 
the /var/spool/mail/etc/resolv.conf file and making it a symlink to 
/etc/resolve.conf fix it?
