Thanks. Ugh. How does one fix this affront? I don't want to have to manually edit my /var/spool/mail/etc/resolv.conf file any time I alter my connection. Kppp handles this for me in /etc/resolv.conf...would deleting the /var/spool/mail/etc/resolv.conf file and making it a symlink to /etc/resolve.conf fix it? praedor
