Has anyone else noticed that IBM ThinkPads have a boot program, before the BIOS, that has configurable options...?
To get at it, just hit ESC when it says something about an Intel loader, then hit Ctrl+S when that prompt comes up... turns out I have the choice between APM and APIC (or was it ACPI?) --- damn acronyms... Anyway, it's not set to APM; anyone have a comment as to which would be better...? I'll be rebooting again soon if I can get my 2.4.20 compile to behave.... hoping to resolve my suspend/resume problems... Pierre
