110% of the WiFi drivers/updates have been put into the 2.5.x kernel, you can patch the 2.4.x kernel and still work fine....i have. But WiFi is a new technology that is not even finalized yet. The companies through the HW out to users without ANY of the standards to be completed....even for Winblows. BUT you can still patch the 2.4 and still work fine, it just takes for effort. I personally havent done the 2.5 yet. Rob
