Review the config file in a text editor, although you won't get all the nice 
explanatory text you get in the xconfig screens.

errr, why would you use lm_sensors to see why yor visor was not working.  It 
is a package to moniter your motherboard voltage and temperature sensors.  To 
set it up type 'sensors-detect' as root.
