It works! Finally! I had my home wlan network working fine with the 2.4.18
kernel in MDK 8.2 but upon upgrading to 9.0 and kernel-2.4.19 (both -16mdk
and -24mdk) I could NOT get my WUSB11 v2.6 working at all. In desperation, I
was about to rebuild and install the 8.2 kernel on my 9.0 system but then
decided to try the 2.4.21 kernel series instead. First reboot with the new
kernel and viola! My WUSB11 works again (after rebuilding/reinstalling the
atmelwlandriver for the new kernel). There was obviously something screwy in
the 2.4.19 kernels, likely not Mandrake's fault, that just refused to allow
this device/driver combo to work for me.
