Took me a moment... Edit /etc/ld.so.conf and make sure it has the directory your libraries are in listed For example /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/lib/qt3/lib are the defaults on my box then I added /usr/local/lib for some stuff I put there. then run ldconfig and it should be good to go. James
