faced with this, i would try:

(1) as root (ie after 'su') & after 'cd BAD-DIR' (not another directory),
    'chown -R tko:tko *' & 'chmod -R 777 *'; then
(2) 'pwd' 'ls -l *' (ie check you are in directory BAD-DIR) 'rm -rf *';
(3) assuming 'sphere3.br5*' is still there, which it probably wb,
    'rm sphere3.br5\*', which hopefully should delete it;
(4) 'cd ..' 'rd BAD-DIR'.
