klaptop is looking for an older version of ACPI's /proc interface, you
need to update it.

I recommend that you both find or start mailing lists for your specific
notebook models, a la [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the meantime, go
to the documentation site at http://returntonature.com/linux/phpwiki and
read up on the ACPI issues, they're not Sony specific.

In short, ACPI support is beta, a moving target, and largely required.
If you're looking for complete stability and functionality on a
ACPI-only laptop, Linux isn't there yet.
