True but then they can't download the Non-Club member version either. 
So it's a bit of a standoff.

One point to ask here.  Do you make purchases at stores with your card? 
If so... You are sending info over an even less secure system.  Horrible
thought isn't it.

The bank MDK deals with may not have this feature.  I've noticed that
some of the Canadian banks tend to be a bit more feature rich than ones
here in the states on international transactions.
