Post your /etc/lilo.conf. Most likely, if it's the default lilo.conf,
it's using the symlinks instead of the real names of the kernel files.
If that doesn't make sense to you, look at the image definitions in
lilo.conf and look at the files in /boot and it should start to make
sense.
