Yeah, I couldn't rule that out. I'm behind a firewall, but there were simply a lot of oddities in the way my system was operating. I could have taken a month to track them all down, repair everything and learn a whole lot in the process, or I could start with a relatively clean slate. I'm busy so I chose the latter.
