If I remember correctly, I think
/var/lib/rpm/__db.001 /var/lib/rpm/__db.002
...
would solve the problem
the *real* question is, why rpm database corruption happens so often? (looking at reports here and my own experience). And then why the removing of those files isn't automated by rpm --rebuilddb
