netstat -atun | grep 13 Look for the IP address that the Mac will be looking for, port 137. If Samba is really listening on the right interface, the next step is to check shorewall. If you've only got one interface, you're probably safe running the firewall tool from DrakConf (drakfirewall). If you've got multiple interfaces (including modems, VMWare, VPNs, &c) then you'd better read shorewall's documentation.
