This whole thing came up when I tried to use the CNN website live radio (uses realplayer plugin) for updates on Iraq. All that happens is a small window appears with a greyed-out area within it and that's it. Nothing. No sound, no error messages. It was then I tried to start realplayer itself and found it wouldn't work unless piped through artsdsp. Is there a way to do the equivalent with the plugin? What are the settings for realplay plugin in konqueror to get it to work? Does it work for anyone at the CNN site in KDE? praedor
