-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 K3b is installed in MDK 9.1 and is a KDE-based CD burner. It looks nice and polished but I find it rather inexplicable to use. I have a CDROM and a CDRW drive. It detects both and even identifies the CDROM as the "reader" and the CDRW as the "burner". OK, that's fine. When I try to copy a CD, however, it only sees the CDRW as both the reader and the writer (?). I am not given an option to select another drive. Furthermore, if I go with this and simply insert the CD I wish to copy into the burner (expecting it to copy files to it's tmp directory) it fails.
I have no problems at all with X-CD-roast or gcombust or eroaster. Is anyone using K3b on a regular basis for their CD burning and copying? praedor -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+iCxpwDUPEkSvRHERAvYEAJ47TL7lmCPW5scg8HxPeNdw/3viGQCgzE9+ SHAA/bkfMWIkLCDinIz82ow= =b6hq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
