I had similar problems here. My box does both English (me) and Korean (wife). I had to remove the references to UTF-8 in /etc/sysconfig/i18n So something that looked like LC_TELEPHONE=en_US-UTF-8 becomes LC_TELEPHONE=en_US and then continue on down the line. Try this and see if it helps.. did for me. James
