For all: If you're a kde fan, the best way is to drag (as user) the kcontrol icon in /usr/bin to the panel creating an instant one click shortcut, and then you have an instant access to the entire kde control center window, where it's all available to do anything you want in kde configuration. When I stumbled on this insight, linux life in kde became much easier.
