I heard there might not be. Quota support is enabled. The thing that apparently got missed is ACL support. XFS support of quota is just as good or better than ext3. The XFS tools for checking/modifying quotas are supported better in the kernel. The easiest way to explain that is with an example: FS User Can check quotas of: ext3 root everybody ext3 user nobody, not even his own XFS root everybody XFS user only his own As per the chart, you'll be better off going with XFS rather than ext3. Caveat: the XFS module is bigger than 500K. You can't make a boot floppy if / is XFS (because the 500K module overfills the floppy). You can do it with a CDRom though. - -- Blue skies...
