May I ask what it is that you want your wheel double clicking to do? One thing that the mouse wheel single click can do in Linux, is paste highlighted text, into any application. To which I have become accustomed and doesn't do by default in windows. Though it might be possible to enable it in that O/S, but I don't use it enough to worry.
