The scenario is that I would like to pass a url to mplayer from a Javascript applet, so I can play a WMA soundstream. Manually; like with copy and paste, straight to the command line. However it's like pulling eyeteeth to get a source URL out of a java applet. Does anybody have a way to do this? Seems like Miark posted a similar solution a while back using Lynx, but I can't remember if that was relevant or not.
