Hi all,

I've been trying to install some programs that can't find packages that
I do have on my system. For example, when trying to install xchat, I
get the following when I run ./configure:

   checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.0.3... no
   *** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...
   *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file
config.log for the
   *** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is
incorrectly installed.
   Cannot find GTK! Not building GTK FrontEnd.

However, I installed GTK and it shows up when I do the command:
rpm -qa | grep -i gtk
showing up as "gtk+2.0-2.2.1-2mdk"

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks!
Allan
