Hi James Run menudrake both as root and as user. Tried updating the menus, loading a different set (simple, sysadmin, mandrake) as both - no dice ..... ...looking like redoing the .kde/ stuff again - had to do this on 9.0 as well, and it never really worked 100% satisfactorily ....
