Hallo

In what way is the Multimedia-kernel changed/improved to the "normal" mandrake kernel?
Means it that it is faster in multimedia-apps?

I haven't the cpu power to use it,
Why don't you think you have the cpu power to use it.  Does it take more than the standard Mandrake kernel?
but If I remember right from the
discussions in cooker, low latency is built in along with a number of
other things for doing realtime audio and video editing. Most of this
came about from trying to get a multimedia tool called (IIRC) Jack.

Improved Supermount was another feature.  A very good reason to use it as far as I'm concerned.

I've been using it for a few months now without any trouble.  Haven't tried to configure Jack yet, but intend to in the future.
