Thanks to Robert and Tom and others who responded.  I just did
rpm --rebuild kernel*.src.rpm

It took about 2 hours, but then I had all the RPMs (about 111 MB)
which we can distribute locally.  I installed the enterprise and
kernel-source and they are working fine, even with VMWare.
