It's no problem reconnecting immediately, of course - but being cut off is bad news if one is part-way through a download at the time. I failed to get a kernel source package recently, because I was disconnected just 3 minutes short of the required time :( So the auto-resume suggestion is an essential feature from my point of view. It would save me much anxiety as I watch the transfer rate fluctuating. It could also mean I don't have to wait for stuff appearing on magazine cover cd's.
