HIya, Thanks for the detailed replys, I m just about to start on this and hopefully it wnt keep me up all night.
As to replacing the network ect... I agree that would be the ideal option, however I am just about to start moving house so cash is tight at the moment, so originally i did plan to buy a load of new cards and a hub and eplace the whole thing, however with plans changing its really not a option at the moment, however it will happen in the (hopefully) not to distant future. my network configuration was mentioned, and as I hope to only be doing this once and I dont want to make a complete mess of it, Could I ask for anyones advice on what they would consider the best way to configure this ? I know Internet connections haring as default sets eth0 to IP = 192.168.1.1 Subnet 255.255.255.0 and s of yet i have been playing about with eth1 on 10.10.1.1 with the same subnet, hopeing in vein to be able to manually set up the xbox with a statiuc ip (10.10.1.2) and being able to route it using 10.10.1.1 as a gateway, but it didnt work. I am going to look at whats been sugested, and hopefully it will work, but if there is a optimal setting for this or a setting you would reccomend for the network cards it would be a great help. Thanks again with the help so far.
