The driver is for cameras with the ov511 chipset. In my case it is
for the usb gizmo called LifeView CapView, which can capture video
and stills from a camcorder. This driver enables it and my camcorder
to work with Camstream etc.

The programmer who wrote the driver has been helpful. I'm not sure,
though whether the fact that I use the win4lin-patched kernel might
affect it, in which case the wait may be everlasting :-(

I have had some partial success, enough to make me feel that it is
possible, but we'll see.
