Hi all. This is on a Mandrake 9.0 system.
I just updated MySQL to 3.23.56 and now when I try to restart the mysql server I get this message: Starting MySQL ServerYou are required to change your password immediately (password aged) Changing password for mysql (current) UNIX password: Even though I type in the correct password it says: su: incorrect password I can start the server with this method: /usr/bin/safe_mysqld --skip-grant-tables and change the password with no problems but when i go to restart mysql normaly i get the same message? Any help would be great. Ralph
