Has anyone experienced clock problems? It's been OK up until now. I don't know when it started, but all of a sudden my KDE clock was off. I thought something was amiss in drakconf (system time) since I had recently run drakfloppy and drakboot to make sure my lilo and etc was all ready to go prior to installing 9.2 beta (I haven't yet installed).
Attempting to change it produces haphazard results. My "system" time is all correct, PDT, clock set to GMT, 'date' or 'xclock' produces the correct time and date. However, kde's clock is reporting CDT now - and it's off. CDT is 2 hours ahead of here (Sunnyvale CA) not three, and three is what it's telling me (five shalt thou not count). Each time I attempt to set kde's idea of what time it is, the screen blanks for a bit, then goes back to normal, and the day chaanges. KDE thinks today is Saturday. It thought it was Monday before. I suspect kcmshell since that's invoked. But not sure. I haven't tried restarting kde. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ David E.
