BTW, this happens for Shockwave Flash even if the plugin for Shockvave is also installed.
Maybe something wrong with how Mozilla is installed on my machine.

I note that Amazon now offer sound sample from cds - a good move, in my book. However, although I have the RealPlayer plugin in Mozilla, if I click on a link I get a download of an .exe file that contains pnm://rm.content.loudeye.com/~a-600111/0661480_0101_00_0002.ra
Does anyone know how I can get these sound samples? It's a great way of checking out new artists.

I'm not sure why the realplayer plugin isn't working, but I have never liked it anyway. Try xine with the xine mozilla plugin.

The rpm puts the plugin in /usr/lib/xine-plugin/xine-plugin.so. Just copy this file to the mozilla plugin directory and you will have quicktime, windows media player, and real media player file support. Plus, the sound quality is incredible.
