looked closely into it. But net-snmp is the new name for ucd-snmp, and is a
newer version. So, therefore, it probably is a good idea to port your code to
it.

Hi Folks,
Anyone could tell me what the main differences are between net-snmp and ucd-snmp ?
I'm wondering why the php-package do require the net-snmp-mib package ? I had written quite some apps using the ucd-snmp package - which are all broken now. Seems the SNMP Extensions from net-snmp are different from the ucd-snmp which where in the php-4.0.x version.
Anyway - would be nice to know what is different, advantages/disadvantages on
all apps - so I can decide if I want to port the code to net-snmp or not.
Thx & Cheers
