OK, James, thanks for the info, but is there anything new what we haven't already read and/or written during such same discussions since version 5.3? It seems that nearly every half year we have the same discussion with the same subject and again, the same words and reasoning. One thing that's new is that it's *before* a final comes out. Normally this starts after a final comes out and someone complains about some bug or feature and says "They should have waited until the darn thing is ready!". That's the point when the discussion starts. It's been on the MandrakeForum of old, in the MandrakeClub and - of course - many times in the newsgroup.
