This time, it's different -- and it seems to have gone away in the last urpmi --auto-select. > lacking access to /proc would do that -- any difference if root? msec up > at 4 or 5? msec is standard; I don't raise it higher. root would hang as well as a user. No difference there. Reboot & urpmi seems to have fixed this problem -- now there's no kicker panel on my kde.
