I'm trying to build a nightly Mozilla Firebird optimised for Athlon XP and
with XFT and GTK.
When I'm compiling, I get this:
checking for libIDL-config... /usr/bin/libIDL-config-2
checking for libIDL - version >= 0.6.3... no
*** Could not run libIDL test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for
the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means libIDL was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved libIDL since it was installed. In the latter case,
you
*** may want to edit the libIDL-config script: /usr/bin/libIDL-config-2
checking for orbit-config... no
configure: error: libIDL not found.
libIDL 0.6.3 or higher is required.
The last lines of my config.log say:
configure:13781: checking for glib-config
configure:13816: checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.0
configure:13915: gcc -o conftest -pthread -pipe -I/usr/include/glib-1.2
-I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include conftest.c -lglib -ldl -lm
1>&5
configure:14003: checking for libIDL-config
configure:14038: checking for libIDL - version >= 0.6.3
configure:14236: checking for orbit-config
rpm -qa | grep libIDL give me:
libIDL2_0-0.8.2-2mdk
libIDL2_0-devel-0.8.2-2mdk
and rpm -qa | grep ORBit :
libORBit2_0-2.6.0-1mdk
libORBit2_0-devel-2.6.0-1mdk
ORBit2-2.6.0-1mdk
ORBit-0.5.17-6mdk
libORBit0-0.5.17-2mdk
The config file is actually in my PATH:
/usr/bin/libIDL-config-2
[EMAIL PROTECTED] gv]# echo $PATH
/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin
I tried to add this line (as seen in the Mozilla Forum) in my script:
mk_add_options LIBIDL_CONFIG=/usr/bin/libIDL-config-2
But no way. The compilation always stop at the same point.
I would apreciate any help.
I'm running Mdk 9.1 with glibc-2.3.2, gtk+2.0-2.2.1 and pkgconfig-0.15.0
