You are counting in the wrong direction. /10 is 10 bits of network address and 22 bits of machine address. (Netmask = 0xffc00000) /24 is 24 bits of network address and 8 bits of machine address. (Netmask = 0xffffff00) So the fewer machines you have the higher the /number can be. -- Richard Urwin
