after installing the recent XFS update on my 9.0 machine, i find myself unable to run X11 programs remotely over an SSH2 connection to an 8.1 machine. (yes, i know, 8.1 is outdated - if i could upgrade that box, i would.) SSH connects fine, gives me a shell, but trying to start an X11 program results in a "can't connect to X server".
does this work on 9.1 or 9.2? if so, i might be able to just ignore this
and hope 9.2 will be attractive enough that my wife will let me mess
with her 8.1 machine to upgrade it, and that'll make us both happy.
