There are a couple things you can try: Run the 'screen' program on the console, either on login or as the user. You can then attach to the screen by logging in over ssh, say, then typing "screen -x ###" where ### is the session to attach. If you just want to see what's on the console, you can cat out the /dev/vcs# entries. You'll need to parse it slightly (add lines breaks) but otherwise will show what's on the console. There's also another program called something like kibbutz or kibbitz that lets you share a session. I can't seem to locate more information though, but Googling may reveal more.
