That appears to be working with Mozilla 1.4.

It looks as though I ought to be able to do the same in Galeon -
about:config brings up the preferences.
There is already a general.useragent.override entry present

"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030630 Galeon/1.3.5".

After 'Modify'ing the String to

"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030630 Galeon/1.3.5
(compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)"

this works also; but on re-loading Galeon, I find the String back where
it was before.

How do I get to save the change?

TIA,

DougB
