No... I'd actually like to see this fixed as well (I get the same behaviour here). Trust me, having this in vmware is very very convenient. While I'm running 9.2/cooker/whatever as my primary desktop, I'm also running everything from Mandrake 8.2-cooker in vmware. It's invaluable for testing stuff. With vmware, I have about 2 dozen operating systems/Linux variants/versions on this machine with only one host OS.
